Avatar: The Last Airbender | Magic: The Gathering
Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender is a Universes Beyond crossover set that brings the Four Nations into MTG with elemental bending themes, iconic characters, and flavorful reimagining of the world of Avatar in a full Magic release (set code TLA). It released for tabletop on November 21, 2025, and the main set is legal in all formats, making it easy to slot new favorites into everything from Standard to Commander.
Collectors have plenty to chase, led by the borderless raised foil Avatar Aang headliner, illustrated by Avatar co-creator Bryan Konietzko. Collector Boosters also feature premium treatments like textless neon ink foil “battle pose” cards, while scene cards and source material reprints capture memorable moments and imagery from the original series.
For sealed product, there are multiple ways to jump in: Play Boosters for Draft and Sealed (including cards from both TLA and TLE), Collector Boosters for the highest concentration of foils and showcase treatments, and Jumpstart Boosters for fast, mix-and-match games. Fans who want a ready-made on-ramp can start with the Beginner Box, while the Bundle and Commander’s Bundle add extras like promo cards and basic lands featuring full-art Appa lands. (1)
If you’re stocking up for Limited nights, hunting the flashiest variants, or building a new Commander deck around the Gaang, Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender delivers a clean entry point for new players and a deep pool of cards for longtime MTG fans to explore. (2)
